About
Hailing from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with deep roots in Makkah and Madinah, Renad was an international student doing my best. She recently graduated with a major in Information & Decision Sciences with a concentration in Business Analytics and minoring in both Psychology and Criminology, Law & Justice. She simultaneously holds the Vice President of Administration and the Interim-President positions for the Eta Rho chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi, the oldest and largest professional Co-ed business fraternity. Renad sees possibilities in people, and likes to offer incentives and challenges to bring out people's strengths. She agrees with the saying, "Give a person a fish and they eat for a day. But teach them how to fish, and they can feed themselves for life." She knows this to be true because she has often had taught herself "how to fish." Renad defines leadership as - Any real strength entails vulnerability and openness: By being emotionally honest, and by taking time to see what one feels about things, one encourages others to look more deeply into themselves. Her goals are to commit herself to productive, meaningful work that will contribute to others' good, no matter how small the contribution may be. Renad served as the Archival Project Intern during AY 2020-2021.
