About
Walaa Albattat is a first generation Iraqi American. She was born in San Diego, California, and at one point lived in Iraq for several years. She is an English major and is minoring in Gender and Women's Studies, and aspires to become an English professor. In her spare time, she can be found reading, thrifting, and exploring different cafes.Through her position at the ArabAmCC, she hopes to create and provide academic and cultural connections and cultivate an Arab American community on and off campus.
