About
Sarah Mostafa Ahmed was born in Cairo and grew up in Texas, where she graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in Middle Eastern Studies. She is currently a Master’s student in the Department of Art History with a concentration in Museum and Exhibition Studies. Her research is focused on contemporary Arab artistic production and its engagement with history, memory, and resistance. At the Arab American Cultural Center, Sarah will help coordinate the Oral History, Archival, and Storytelling Project.
