Teach Me How to Dabke

a workshop with Instructor Mohamed Darawsha and co-instructor Muhammad Sankari

Join us to learn the art of Palestinian Dabke, Folk Dance and practice your steps. No prior experience necessary.

Mohamed Darwsha is a highly respected Dabka and folklore dance instructor from Ramallah, Palestine, with nearly two decades of experience in performance, choreography, and training. He has been a dancer and instructor with Wishah Folk Dance Troupe since 2006, performing on stages worldwide, including in the United States, France, Algeria, and Turkey. As the artistic director and choreographer for Al-Juthoor Folk Dance Group, he trained dancers and led performances in international festivals representing Palestine. He conducts workshops to develop future instructors in the art of Palestinian folk dance. Through his workshops, Mohamed aims to preserve Palestinian heritage, enhance artistic expression, and cultivate technical mastery in Dabka. His programs are designed for dancers of all levels, from beginners to professional performers.
