What access does the CIA have to UIC student information? Are you in the Chicago Police Gang database? How is Countering Violent Extremism Surveilling Muslim Youth?
These are all important questions that will only be answered through massive public pressure on those in power, and FOIAs are a great way to apply that pressure! Join UIC Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), Erase the Database, and Stop "Countering Violent Extremism" for a FOIA Workshop where we will be discussing our campaigns and filling out FOIAs in order to demand information that we have a right to know!
