My Brother, My Land: A Story From Palestine by Sami Hermez with Sireen Sawalha

Sami Hermez, PhD, is direcotor of the Liberal Arts Program and Associate Professor in Residence of anthropology at Northwestern University in Qatar. Sami authored War is Coming: Between Past and Future Violence in Lebanon (UPenn 2017).

Sireen Sawalha is from Jenin, Palestine. In 2022, Cornell University recognized her for her outstanding contributions to education. She serves as a social studies teacher in New Jersey and works to raise awareness about Palestinian culture and the struggle for freedom. My Brother, My Land is the story of her family.
